Is there a store I can visit where I can try on ROUBÍ jewellery?
At the moment we don’t have a store and we don’t work with stockists. You can email me or send me a message on instagram at any time if you want us to arrange a try-on (only for local customers) or want to talk about customized projects.

What materials are my ROUBÍ pieces made of?
All pieces are made with sterling silver. The 18 carat gold plated items have a sterling silver base.
Do I have to take off my jewellery to swim or shower?
We will always advise you to take your jewellery off when going in to the shower, doing the dishes, going into a hot tub or even a hot spring. While water itself seems harmless, other chemicals that come in to play (such as soap, shampoo, chlorines, certain minerals etc.) can tarnish you sterling silver pieces or make them look dull over time.
If you have a gold plated item, these factors will make your gold layer fade faster. So keep that in mind.
What is gold plating?
Gold plating is a coating of gold over a base metal such as sterling silver. This combination is also known as ‘gold vermeil’.
We use a 5 micron layer on rings and a 3 micron layer on necklaces, earrings and bracelets which is the best thickness of plating to keep your gold color last as long as possible. Note that contact with skin oils and moisture, water and abrasive chemicals will play a factor on how fast your gold plating will fade. Unfortunately this is out of our control.
If wanted, a new layer over time can be requested at an additional cost.
Is sterling silver hypo-allergenic?
Silver is hypo-allergenic, but sterling silver is a mix of 92,5% silver and 7,5% other metals to make your piece stronger and more durable. Allergic reactions will depend from one person to another.
Gold plated pieces are hypo-allergenic until the plating fades.
If you are very sensitive to allergic reactions, feel free to contact me to customize your piece.
